Schedule FAQs
Please read all of the FAQs below to help clear up any questions that you may have about the schedule and the scheduling process. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests however we ask you to remember that you are not the only club/team competing in the tournament. To have any requests considered you will need to fill out the Schedule Request Form which will formally log it. Requests must come from a Team Administrator.
When will the schedule be final?
We make every effort to get the schedule posted as early as possible, however, due to several of the reasons below edits may be made up until the day before. We will start posting the schedule as early as the Monday before the tournament but can almost guarantee that changes will be made. Please be sure to check your schedule prior to your game time. If you follow your team on the tourney machine app then you will receive updates when a change is made. Game times will run approximately - Friday 5:30pm - 9:40 pm, Saturday 8:00 am - 9:30pm, Sunday 8:00am - 5:00 pm.
Will my team play Friday night?
If your team is traveling from far away, then you will not be scheduled for Friday games. If you live in Palm Beach, Broward or Treasure Coast counties please be prepared to have Friday night games.
I have a coach that coaches 2 teams can you make sure he is not scheduled at the same time?
The tournament cannot be responsible for your club's coaching staff if this situation occurs the club will need to find a suitable replacement for the Coach during the schedule conflict. However, if your team in this situation please contact the tournament in advance and we will try to accommodate your request.
Players on my team have a prom/bar mitzvah to attend, can you schedule around it?
The tournament recognizes that it is prom and bar mitzvah season however our scheduled dates have been set for many months and this is something that should be considered prior to signing up your teams for the tournament.
My team is traveling from far away can you make it so we don’t play too early?
When scheduling the tournament does try to take into consideration travel distances, however, teams a responsible for securing hotels if the distance is too far.
We have a back to back games, is this normal?
Our goal is to try to minimize the number of back-to-back games scheduled in the tournament, however, we need to schedule several hundred games with a limited amount of hours so unfortunately, it is inevitable in some cases. We would rather teams play back to back than be at the fields for an extended amount of hours.
My team needs to change divisions. Can you help?
Please notify us well in advance if you need to switch your team’s division from where you originally registered them. if you put in a request within 14 days of the tournament your request may be denied
We don’t want to play that team can you not schedule us against them?
This is a tournament play whom you play and play to win.
We have a really long break between games, is there anything we can do about that?
Please let us know and we will do what we can. If the schedule won’t allow for us to move your games, please plan for the break maybe grab a team lunch.
Our team is scheduled to play at the same time on 2 different fields?
OOPS, please let us know right away and we will juggle things around
What if there is a delay due to the weather?
At the time we will assess the situation and schedule accordingly. Games may be shortened or canceled as a result
I’m a coach and I really don’t want to tie up my whole day at a lacrosse tournament can you make sure my team plays early so I can hit the Beach?
Really? Don’t even ask
